Model Satellite Team of Sakarya University “TURKISH Defenders” have achieved great success. They have won the CANSAT Satellite Competition in the top 20 teams. among the world teams, which was supported by the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration and also was organized by American Space Society (AAS), Turkish Defenders team which has been created by the group of troubled young has been invited the competition which will be organized in June in Virginia, the U.S.A. Turkish Defenders Team consists of Prof. Dr. Uğur ARİFOĞLU who is counselor of Turkish Defenders Team, Captain of team Yusuf AKPINAR, Talha TÜRKER, Furkan ÖZDEMİR, Musab İbrahim ELİBOL, Sercan ÖZTÜRK, Aslan ALDAGESSTANI and Abdullah Agah ÖZDEMİR.
